Intro to Native Plant Gardening (August 2024)

This workshop introduces how and why we should create gardens with wildlife in mind. It showcases the great variety of native plants in the Rio Grande Valley, which ones support different wildlife, and why using native plants is important. Participants will learn about free and purchaseable resources to help select plant species. This is a great start for people looking to start adding native plants to their landscaping and learn more about our local plants in the process!
